the friends
In terms of friendships, Eowyn can bond fairly suddenly with others, particularly in the initial stage when they are novel and interesting, as she constantly goes through new “toys” – people and things, the more complex the better – in an attempt to hold her attention. Often, she is deceptively offhand with friends, finding their everyday affairs monotonous. As well, she can be rather detached and apathetic, and conceals what she does feel. Generally, she is good at finding friends who are as clever and entertaining as she is. Aside from those two criteria, Eowyn tends to be oblivious of the rest of humanity, except as an audience.
She is not one to appreciate the dramatics of life, and though capable of deep emotions, can have difficulty expressing them. Still, she is equal parts cold and charming. Friends may need to be easygoing, as the switch can take place swiftly. As well, patience is key – while bonding is quick, true understanding can take time. The best way to get to know her is through persistence. I could see her having one or two best friends, who know how to navigate her better than most. She may seem a rather frustrating person, but to those she values, Eowyn is unflinchingly loyal and will go out of her way to protect them--in her own way, that is.

the enemies
Verbally quick, Eowyn loves to argue--both for its own sake, and to play devil's advocate. With a preserve sense of humour, she enjoys getting a reaction out of people, frustrating others for amusement. When she's like this, it can be an off-hand irreverence, or sort of halfway between playful and mean-spirited. She may sometimes confuse or anger those who don't understand such behaviour as a sport, especially since she can be rather unflappable herself. Aside from a few special occasions, she is the definition of aplomb, and her impassivity can be rather infuriating to some. Honestly, she can come off as this horrible little enigma, but it's more of an evasion tactic than even she realizes--it's easier, really, to act as if nothing matters, than to expose what's real.
Her privileged upbringing may also cause problems. Though beaten out of her by orphanage workers, it can still be seen in certain tendencies. Eowyn has been known to cut corners without regard to the rules if she feels it necessary, or simply out of defiance. She is not a joiner for joining’s sake, and can disrespect authority figures if they prove incompetent. Eowyn, in fact, has little patience for anyone she considers foolish or unintelligent, and will demonstrate little tact in showing this. Perceptive (almost unnaturally so), she sometimes says things people would rather not hear, refusing to entertain their pretenses. ... Hypocritical much?

the love
Eowyn tends to approach love well-armed, and on occasion only. Still, when she does, tries her best to convince herself of the relationship’s legitimacy and appears to give her all. Quick enough, she will come to recognize flaws and that this isn’t 'the one’ that she can let her guard down for. In a way, Eowyn doesn't want real love, because she thinks she knows what love is--that it's pain, so she rebels against anyone who might give her the right kind of affection. I haven’t settled on a sexuality, so all are welcome!
Final: So, I've had this idea (just an idea, mind you) for her final, or some very important relationship. For development's sake, I'd like to have them as this person who hates/dislikes her (because let's face it, she's sort of a bitch). Someone who's particularly unimpressed by her behaviour, but begins to catch little glimpses of something
real, and off that they build a relationship. Fucked up as it may start out, they'll discover they're more alike than they thought. It won't be easy--she's still Eowyn, but I would think that – while the person may not always understand her – they’d be her equal, and someone she can trust. Fair warning: she's going to fight this. Not necessarily the actual relationship, but the getting emotionally naked--dropping all her barriers and being judged on whatever's left.
