ROLE PLAY SAMPLE:The little boy giggled happily and unstoppably and lily couldn t help but be infected by it, the smile on her face growing as she let out a chuckle. The brunette s hands continued moving, tickling her son as fits of laughter exploded from him as he squirmed. These were the moments Lily lived for, the moments she could spend with the little blond haired boy that had stolen her heart just like his father had. The grueling night shifts, lack of sleep, and the holes in her heart were all forgotten when she was with Isaiah, he made things easier. It also helped that it had been one of her rare days off meaning she d be able to get more than four hours of sleep. Still laughing she ceased her tickling and lifted the fast growing little boy into the air smiling up at him as he smiled back still giggling. Saiah, you wanna play with poke poke? Lily asked setting her son back on the ground, feet first. The boy squealed and nodded his head continually till his mother hoisted herself to her feet. Taking the little hand Lily led Isaiah to the back porch where a hutch sat, filled with fresh bedding. Releasing saiah s hand Lily opened the top and reached into the hutch retrieving the fluffy black rabbit inside, petting the quiet creature to comfort it.
Poke Poke! the child yelled at the sight of the pet, his first Easter gift from his great grandmother. Lily smiled and moved the rabbit so it sat between her side and her arm as she took the boy s hand once more leading him back into their living room. Once there she released his hand and placed the animal on the floor smiling as Isaiah walked over to the creature and plopped down beside it. He proceeded to pet Polka the rabbit gently and talking to it as if no one else was around in half gibberish. Lily chuckled and turned toward the kitchen heading toward the refrigerator rummaging through various foods to find the left over carrot she had saved. Just as she found what she had been searching for three sharp knocks tolled on the door. Who in the hell? hold on. she called over her shoulder closing the refrigerator door as she headed back to the living room. Crouching down she handed the carrot to the rabbit and smoothed it s fur, then turning to her son she gave him a kiss on the forehead before righting herself and heading toward the front door.
Sighing she looked over her shoulder to make sure Isaiah was still sitting with his friend before swinging open the door. Listen it s my day off, I don t care if you want to see Saiah you know days off ar thinking it was one of the werewolf s -thinking it was a baby sitting day or just dropping into say hi to her son- Lily spoke slightly sounding annoyed until she saw who was standing on the other side of the door. Lily could feel the drop of her jaw as she looked incredulously at the man standing before her, he was different, but entirely the same. He shared the same blond hair as Isaiah, in fact he and her little boy looked unbelievably alike and with good reason. Lily felt the tears stream down her face and her mouth close, jaw setting. The tremor in her hands was undeniable, even more so when -unknowing- she cocked back her arm and thrust her clenched fist forward. Before she realized what she had done her fist flew forward and then just as quickly she was slamming the door shut.
Oh my god, she snapped out of her zombie like moment and flung the door back open, leaping forward and wrapping her arms around her husband s neck. Mind whirling tears stained her cheek and flurry of emotions rushing through her. What was this? It seemed like a cruel prank, but it wasn t, she d had many day dreams but this was too real to fake. This was him, this was Nick, this was the man who made her heart ache with a mere thought and holy hell she had punched him! Well in all fairness he deserved it she thought in a moment of clarity.
